Liverpool midfielder Jordan Rossiter bound for Rangers?

A report claims that Rangers are close to signing Liverpool midfielder Jordan Rossiter for around £250,000 in compensation.

Rangers are reportedly on the verge of signing Liverpool youngster Jordan Rossiter.

The 19-year-old is out of contract at Anfield next month and no agreement over an extension appears to be forthcoming.

As a result, the Daily Mail claims, the Scottish Premiership outfit are leading the race for the midfielder's signature.

The report adds that Rossiter will make the switch to Ibrox for around £250,000 in compensation, while a move to another English club could have pocketed the Reds up to £8m.

The England youth international has made four senior appearances for Liverpool, one of which came in the Premier League.
