Real Madrid could reportedly be made to wait until the summer of 2021 to complete a deal for Rennes midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.
The 17-year-old has been in impressive form for his French club during the 2019-20 campaign, scoring once and providing two assists in 36 appearances in all competitions.
Madrid are allegedly keen to sign the Frenchman during this summer's transfer window.
However, according to L'Equipe, Camavinga has a gentleman's agreement to remain with Rennes for another season if the club finishes in the Champions League spots in Ligue 1.
As it stands, the midfielder's side are third in the table, which would see them qualify for the Champions League third qualifying round, although it is still unclear whether the 2019-20 campaign will be allowed to finish.
The youngster, who has also been linked with Barcelona and Liverpool, is allegedly valued by his club in the region of €60m (£53m).
