Jesus Navas has refuted the notion that Manchester City are a one-man team amid Sergio Aguero's red-hot form.
The Argentine has struck 19 goals in 20 outings for the Sky Blues this season but, despite acknowledging Aguero's game-changing abilities, Navas says that it is a team effort.
Asked where City would be without their talisman, the Spaniard told the Daily Mail: "I couldn't tell you. It's fantastic we've got Sergio among our ranks, a player like him can make the difference.
"But what you have to remember is that we're all working really hard in the same direction to take City up the league. We're pushing forward all the time to create as many chances for him as possible.
"We are really becoming a solid unit now, we are defending as a block. I think that's helping the fact we've managed to turn the results around."
Manuel Pellegrini's side, who sit second in the Premier League table, six points behind Chelsea, host Everton at the Etihad Stadium this evening.
