Manchester City have reportedly decided to offer an improved contract to winger Leroy Sane.
The 21-year-old is only 18 months into a five-year deal at the Etihad Stadium, but the player's form appears to have led to City showing a willingness to further extend the attacker's stay in the North-West.
According to The Sun, City are prepared to hand Sane a 25% pay-rise, taking his wages from £60,000 per week to £80,000.
Sane will allegedly have to wait for City to resolve contract issues involving Fernandinho, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne, but Pep Guardiola is keen to reward Sane for his recent form.
Since joining the Premier League club from Schalke 04, Sane has scored 11 goals in 39 appearances in the top flight, with six of those efforts coming during the current campaign.
Sane is also starting to establish himself on the international scene with Germany, with the winger earning nine caps for the world champions.
