Manchester City are interested in signing Daniel Alves from Barcelona in the summer, according to a report.
The Sun claims that the Premier League giants are hopeful of striking a £15m deal with the Spanish champions for the 30-year-old defender.
It has been reported that the Brazil international has a £30m buyout clause in his contract, but Barca could sell him for half that sum in order to fund the £500m cost of remodelling Camp Nou.
Alves joined Barcelona from Sevilla in the summer of 2008 and has gone on to win La Liga four times, the Copa del Rey twice and the Champions League on two occasions.
The right-back's current contract with Barcelona runs out in June 2015.
