Cristiano Ronaldo is on his worst goal drought for over 13 years, having failed to find the back of the net in his last five appearances for Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo is currently on his worst goal drought for over 13 years, having failed to find the back of the net in his last five appearances for Manchester United in all competitions.

The 37-year-old has drawn blanks in his last four Premier League appearances against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Brentford, West Ham United and Burnley, in addition to failing to register against Middlesbrough in the FA Cup on February 4.

Ronaldo's last goal for the Red Devils came against Burnley in the Premier League at the end of December, and he dropped out of the side for Tuesday's 1-1 draw with the Clarets at Turf Moor.

The Portugal international has not been on a longer run without scoring a goal at club level since seven matches between December 2008 and January 2009 during his first spell at Man United.

Speaking during Friday's pre-match press conference, Red Devils interim head coach Ralf Rangnick admitted that Ronaldo needs to be scoring more goals.

The Portuguese has netted 14 times and registered three assists in 25 appearances for the 20-time English champions since securing a return to Old Trafford last summer.
