Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay has reportedly pledged his future to Scotland following talks with Alex McLeish earlier this week.
The 21-year-old, who has featured 15 times for United in his breakthrough campaign at Old Trafford, is eligible to represent the Scots through his Glaswegian father.
McTominay could also play for England, the country of his birth, but BBC Sport suggests that he has now opted to go for rivals Scotland.
McLeish visited the Red Devils' training base on Thursday to hold face-to-face discussions with the young midfielder, it is claimed, and he may now be in line to feature in friendlies against Costa Rica and Hungary later this month.
Jose Mourinho recently advised Scotland to get to McTominay before England, with the United academy product yet to represent either nation at any level.
