Phil Jones happy to be Manchester United's utility man

Manchester United's Phil Jones says that he is not too worried about where he is asked to play for the club, as long as he continues to be selected.

Manchester United's Phil Jones has claimed that he is not too concerned about where he is deployed as long as he is starting games.

Jones has developed a reputation as a utility player at Old Trafford after featuring in midfield, right-back and centre-back during his time at Old Trafford, but the England international is just glad to be featuring for the champions.

"I've played in a few positions and I'm happy with centre-back," Jones told ITV Sport.

"But I just want to play and I am happy in central midfield, right-back, or centre-back, as long as I am playing.

Jones scored the winning goal as David Moyes's side beat Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0 in the Champions League on Tuesday.
