Report: Robin van Persie out for further six weeks

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie is reportedly facing six more weeks out injured.

Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has reportedly suffered a setback that will keep him sidelined for six more weeks.

The Dutch forward was said to be nearing full fitness from the injury he sustained when taking a corner for the English champions in their Champions League win against Shakhtar Donetsk on December.

However, according to the Daily Mail, the former Arsenal man will be absent until the end of February with a thigh problem.

Wayne Rooney is also out for David Moyes's side, who host Swansea City in the Premier League today.
