Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck has admitted that his record in front of goal last season was not good enough.
The England international, 22, netted twice in all competitions as the Red Devils regained the Premier League title from neighbours Manchester City.
"This season has been the most number of matches I have played and my performances have been a lot more consistent, but the goals return has not been good at all," Welbeck told MUTV. "I do feel if I can get a better goals return I will be flying."
Welbeck scored a total of three goals for England during the last campaign.
