Ajax are reportedly interested in taking their former player Hakim Ziyech on loan from Chelsea, with the Moroccan struggling for playing time at the Blues.

Ajax are reportedly interested in taking their former player on loan from Chelsea if Antony joins Manchester United.

The Dutch champions are reluctant to sell Antony to United, but the Brazilian has missed the last two days of training in a bid to force through a move.

As a result, Antony will not feature in Sunday's league game against Sparta Rotterdam, with United believed to be preparing another offer after recently having an €80m (£67.9m) bid rejected.

If the Brazil international does join the Red Devils then Ajax would try to sign a replacement before the transfer window closes, with Ziyech regarded as a potential option.

According to The Mirror, Ajax are looking to bring Ziyech back from Chelsea on a loan deal, with the Moroccan struggling for playing time at Stamford Bridge.

Ziyech joined the Blues from the Dutch champions in 2020, but he seems to have fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea after being an unused substitute in the opening two Premier League games.

Although Ajax are aiming to sign Ziyech on loan, they are looking to include a purchase option in any deal with the Premier League club.
