Barcelona have reportedly issued a contract ultimatum to Ousmane Dembele, with the Catalan giants desperate not to lose him on a free transfer next summer.
The France international's current deal at Camp Nou is due to expire in June 2022, and Barcelona are struggling to sign him to an extension amid their financial problems.
Manchester United are believed to be determined to sign the World Cup winner, and as it stands, the Red Devils would be able to hold discussions with him in January over a free transfer.
According to reports in Spain, Barcelona have given Dembele until December 15 to make up his mind over his future.
Should the former Rennes youngster decide against penning an extension then it has been suggested that he will be left in the stands for the rest of the 2021-22 campaign.
The 24-year-old has only made three appearances for the Catalan giants this season due to injury, with all three of those outings coming off the bench.
