Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic is reportedly on the verge of signing a new deal at Inter Milan.
The 29-year-old has again been a vital player for his Italian club this season, making 33 appearances in all competitions, contributing one goal and two assists in the process.
Brozovic's current deal at San Siro is due to expire at the end of June, though, and there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future in recent months.
Barcelona boss Xavi is said to be a keen admirer of the Croatia international and has been pushing for his club to sign the midfielder at the end of his contract.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Brozovic is on the verge of signing an extension with the Italian giants, which will end the La Liga club's interest.
The midfielder has featured on 275 occasions for Inter since arriving from Dinamo Zagreb in July 2016, contributing 26 goals and 35 assists in the process.
Newcastle United, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in his services over the last few months.
