Kieran Trippier has reportedly decided to stay with Atletico Madrid during this summer's transfer window.
The 30-year-old missed a period of the 2020-21 campaign due to a suspension, but he still played a key role in his side's La Liga title triumph, providing six assists in 28 league appearances.
Manchester United have allegedly identified the England international as an ideal signing in the upcoming market, as Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seeks competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka at right-back.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Trippier does not want to leave Wanda Metropolitano in the upcoming market, as he is enjoying playing under Atletico boss Diego Simeone.
As a result, Man United have seemingly suffered a huge blow in their pursuit of the full-back, who is currently with the England squad preparing for this summer's European Championships.
Trippier has made 68 appearances for Atletico since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur in July 2019.
