Athletic Bilbao have handed winger Inaki Williams a new nine-year contract.
Williams has spent his entire professional career with the La Liga outfit, contributing a total of 49 goals from 200 appearances in all competitions.
However, Manchester United were linked with an approach for the 25-year-old during the summer transfer window as they considered adding new attack-minded players to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.
A transfer will not materialise in the near future, however, after Athletic opted to give Williams a deal which will not expire until 2028.
The Spanish outfit have also included a £125m release clause as part of the agreement in a bid to fend off any admirers of the forward.
