Real Madrid have reportedly joined the race for AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer.
The 22-year-old only joined Milan from Empoli last summer and has a contract at San Siro until June 2024.
There has been a host of speculation surrounding the midfielder's future in recent days, though, with both Manchester City and Manchester United thought to be interested in his signature.
Bennacer has featured on 23 occasions for Milan during the 2019-20 campaign, while he has been capped 22 times by Algeria and was named the Best Player of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
According to Fichajes, Madrid have been impressed by the former Arsenal midfielder's development, and the Spanish giants are now exploring the possibility of a summer deal.
Bennacer is thought to have a €50m (£45m) release clause in his current contract.
