Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will reportedly be handed another £150m warchest to turn the club back into a dominant force in English football.
Chief executive Ed Woodward will approve the funding at a transfer summit with the Dutchman in attendance this week, according to The Mirror.
Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels, Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman, and Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne are believed to be at the top of Van Gaal's shopping list.
The Reds Devils boss is also said to have earmarked Everton right-back Seamus Coleman as his second choice, should he fail to secure Clyne for that position.
United currently occupy fourth place in the Premier League table, and the club's hierarchy are believed to be prepared to break the bank to ensure Champions League qualification.
