Wolverhampton Wanderers have first option to buy Ruben Vinagre?

Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly have the first option to buy Monaco defender Ruben Vinagre, who is currently on a season-long loan deal at Molineux.

Wolverhampton Wanderers have reportedly established an advantage over a number of Premier League clubs in the race to sign Ruben Vinagre.

The Monaco defender is currently on a season-long loan deal at Molineux, but his performances for the Championship outfit have allegedly attracted interest from clubs in the top flight.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton are three of the teams who have previously been mentioned but according to the Express & Star, Wolves have first option to sign the teenager, as per the terms of their agreement with Monaco.

Vinagre has made nine starts in all competitions for Wolves, with his most recent showing coming against Manchester City in the EFL Cup as the West Midlands outfit held the Premier League leaders to a goalless draw before losing on penalties.

Wolves are allegedly prepared to turn Vinagre's loan deal into a permanent transfer at the earliest opportunity.
