Middlesbrough head coach Tony Pulis has suggested that he is eager to make a number of first-team additions before the end of the transfer window.
Boro sit in second place in the Championship standings, but the North-East outfit have allowed key trio Ben Gibson, Adama Traore and Patrick Bamford to leave the Riverside Stadium.
That has left Pulis short in a number of areas, and the Welshman has admitted that he is pushing to sign several players over the next next eight days.
At a press conference, Pulis told reporters: "How many I need and how many I'll get we'll wait and see. It's no secret. The chairman knows, the supporters know, the dressing room knows.
"We need some players in, the sooner we get them the better. The players who we've picked [in the games so far] have been fantastic."
Middlesbrough play host to Pulis's former team West Bromwich Albion on Friday night.
