Middlesbrough return for Jonathan Woodgate?

Jonathan Woodgate is reportedly in talks with his former club Middlesbrough over a proposed move from Stoke City.

Former England international Jonathan Woodgate is reportedly in negotiations to move back to Middlesbrough.

The 32-year-old, who spent last season at Stoke City, has been plagued by injuries throughout his career but is likely to return to his former club.

It is understood that Woodgate's representatives are in talks with the Championship club over a proposed move, according to Sky Sports News.

The former Tottenham Hotspur defender was reportedly offered a new 12-month deal with the Potters but the centre-back has opted for a switch away from the Premier League.
