East Stirling's Ryan Frances has been banned for 14 matches after a hearing by the Scottish Football Association's Disciplinary Tribunal.
The defender was charged with excessive misconduct involving violent conduct, dissent, the use of offensive, insulting and abusive language after he was sent off against Buckie Thistle last month for lashing out at an opponent.
The 19-year-old then allegedly grabbed referee Barry Cook's arm before he had to be dragged away by teammates.
Frances has five days to appeal against the decision.
