Manchester City have announced that defender Shay Facey has signed a new two-year contract at the club.
The 20-year-old returned from a five-month loan spell with City's sister club New York City after the end of the MLS regular season, and he has now extended his stay at his boyhood team.
Facey revealed his delight at signing a new deal and admitted his ambition to take the next step in his career with the former Premier League champions.
