Pablo Zabaleta: 'Premier League is not a two-horse race'

Pablo Zabaleta insists that the battle for the Premier League title is not a two-horse race between Manchester City and Chelsea.

Pablo Zabaleta has claimed that it would be foolish to consider the title race to only be between Manchester City and Chelsea.

Chelsea are currently five points ahead at the top of the Premier League as they look to take the title away from City, but Zabaleta insists that the champions are fully aware of other challengers.

"I think you cannot forget about other teams like [Manchester] United, Arsenal, Liverpool," the Argentine told members of the media. "I think Southampton are in good shape at the moment.

"We just need to think about ourselves and keep working hard to try and win games.

"We know how tough this competition, the Premier League, is. We have won it twice in the last three years and we know how tough it is to win it. Every game is so hard to win, especially playing away from home."

Chelsea are yet to be beaten this season, while City have suffered just one defeat.
