Norwich City boss Alex Neil: 'Robbie Brady will not force move'

Republic of Ireland international Robbie Brady will not force a move away from Norwich City this summer, insists Canaries boss Alex Neil.

Norwich City boss Alex Neil has insisted that Robbie Brady will not force a move away from Carrow Road this summer.

The Republic of Ireland international is widely expected to move on after Norwich's relegation to the Championship, and the likes of Leicester City and Southampton have been linked with the midfielder.

It is understood, however, that Norwich are demanding £20m for the 24-year-old, which has already seen Leicester pursue other options ahead of the new campaign.

Neil will not stand in the way of Brady leaving this summer, but is not prepared to sanction the move for anything under the club's valuation of the former Manchester United youngster.

"We are still as you were. Since he has come back and re-joined we have had a chat about all that and there will be no problems whatsoever. He is fine," Neil told reporters.

"We are happy he is here and that will remain the case until when or if someone comes in with the right money. Then we will consider it and have a look but right now we will crack on. Robbie understands the situation."

Brady scored twice during Republic of Ireland's run to the last-16 stage of Euro 2016 this summer.
