Young Norwich City midfielder James Maddison has moved to Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen on loan until January 4.
The 19-year-old joined Alex Neil's side in February from Coventry City and was immediately loaned back out to the Sky Blues, and now the Championship side have opted to give Maddison more time out on loan in order to gain more first-team experience.
Writing on Twitter after the move was confirmed, Maddison said: "Delighted to sign for @AberdeenFC on loan! Can't wait to meet everyone and get started. Thanks for the welcoming messages! #Dons"
Maddison made his senior Canaries debut during last week's EFL Cup game with Coventry, playing all 90 minutes as his side ran out 6-1 winners.
Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes has now made eight signings this summer as he bids to improve upon his side's second-place finish in the Scottish top flight last term.
