Malky Mackay has reportedly ruled himself out of the running for the vacant managerial position at Nottingham Forest.
Forest chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi had revealed on Thursday that Mackay was on a shortlist of three candidates that also included Steve Clarke and Gianfranco Zola.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the 42-year-old is not interested in becoming the next man in the hotseat at the City Ground.
The East Midlands outfit parted company with Billy Davies on Monday after they suffered a 5-0 defeat away at local rivals Derby County last weekend.
