Paris Saint-Germain manager Thomas Tuchel has suggested that he is unaware of an agreement being reached with Schalke 04 for defender Thilo Kehrer.
Schalke's sporting director Christian Heidel claimed during the weekend that Kehrer was on the verge of making the switch after agreeing terms with the French champions.
The 21-year-old, who started 27 games for the Bundesliga side last season, is expected to set PSG back around £33m once a move goes through.
Tuchel has insisted that nothing concrete is in place just yet, however, telling reporters: "I can't confirm. We are in touch with the player but I'm not sure if it's a definitive move. You have to ask the sport director (Antero Henrique)."
PSG beat Caen 3-0 at the Parc des Princes in their Ligue 1 opener on Sunday evening.
