Harry Redknapp: "I couldn't give a monkey's about speculation"

Harry Redknapp insists that he "couldn't give a monkey's" about the speculation surrounding his future at Queens Park Rangers.

Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has claimed that he "couldn't give a monkey's" about the rumours linking other people with his job following Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday.

Speculation over Redknapp's future at Loftus Road has increased in recent days, but he is certain that any replacement would face the same struggles he has since taking QPR back to the Premier League.

"I couldn't give a monkey's about speculation, if you think I'm bothered, really, about silly people keeping writing rubbish," the QPR boss told reporters. "I'm not interested. They can write what they want. You only do what you can do, your best, that's what you can do in life.

"What am I worried about? I'm not 35 with five kids trying to pay a mortgage. I do my best every day. I come in early, every morning. I'm at the training ground early and I leave late at night.

"I hear other names mentioned, but they couldn't do any better than what I can do, that's for sure."

The defeat to Liverpool has left QPR bottom of the table on four points from eight games.
