Harry Redknapp praises Steve Clarke but insists his QPR side will be hard to beat on Boxing Day.

Harry Redknapp has warned West Bromwich Albion that his Queens Park Rangers side will be hard to beat on Boxing Day.

West Brom travel to Loftus Road after winning their first match in five, but Redknapp has confidence in his players.

QPR are currently 19th in the Premier League but did win their last home game, against Fulham.

"We're at home and we will be hard to beat," Redknapp told reporters.

"West Brom have done very well. Steve Clarke has done an excellent job with them and they're a strong outfit, but we're at home. We won our last home game against Fulham.

"The crowd were great in that game and we've got to show the same passion, the players have got to show the same passion."

QPR lost to Newcastle United at the weekend, but were previously unbeaten since Redknapp's arrival.

The match against West Brom takes place at Loftus Road on Wednesday.
