Queens Park Rangers sign Jack Robinson

QPR announce the signing of Jack Robinson from Liverpool on a four-year deal.

Queens Park Rangers have announced the signing of Liverpool full-back Jack Robinson on a four-year deal.

The 20-year-old arrives at Loftus Road for a fee in the region of £1m but will spend the remainder of the season on loan at Huddersfield Town in the Championship.

Robinson has enjoyed loan spells with Wolverhampton Wanderers and Blackpool and now looks forward to his "new challenge" in West London.

"It was an easy decision for me to come here for a new challenge," he told the club's official website.

"Hopefully I can do well here and establish myself as a Premier League player in the future.

"The loan spell at Huddersfield will no doubt serve me well for my future at QPR – I definitely need another season of games under my belt."

Manager Harry Redknapp added: "Jack is one for the future. He's a good young player.

"He'll continue his development at Huddersfield this season in the Championship, where I'm sure he'll do well."

Robinson is the second-youngest player in Liverpool history to have made a senior appearance for the club, having made his debut as a 16-year-old back in 2010.
