Reading draw 2-2 with Bournemouth as Royals midfielder Jem Karacan makes a welcome return from injury.

Jem Karacan made his return from injury as Reading drew 2-2 with Bournemouth in Saturday's pre-season friendly.

The Turkish midfielder played the final 20 minutes as he continues his recovery.

Reading led twice at Dean Court through Adrian Mariappa and Hal Robson-Kanu but were unable to claim victory.

Wes Thomas and Paul Groves scored for the Cherries to earn the League One side an impressive draw against Premier League opposition.
