Gareth Bale has reportedly resolved to stick it out at Real Madrid until the Chinese transfer window reopens in November.
Zinedine Zidane has made it clear that the Welshman, who moved to the Bernabeu in 2013, is surplus to his requirements at Real this season.
Bale was on the verge of completing a transfer to Chinese side Jiangsu Suning earlier this summer, only for the move to fall through after Real demanded a £20m transfer fee.
According to the Daily Mail, Bale will stay put at the Bernabeu until the possibility of a move to China reopens in November.
There is also the chance of Bale holding out until Zidane, who has overseen a nightmare pre-season for Real, potentially loses his job should results fail to improve.
The 30-year-old came on for the final half-hour against Roma on Sunday and scored in a penalty shootout which the La Liga side lost 5-4.
