Cristiano Ronaldo hints at Real Madrid stay

Cristiano Ronaldo affords supporters a huge sigh of relief as he hints at a potential stay at Real Madrid next season.

Cristiano Ronaldo has afforded Real Madrid fans a huge sigh of relief by hinting that he will not be going anywhere next season.

The Portuguese winger sparked controversy after comments he made about his future following Madrid's Champions League win against Liverpool on Saturday.

During celebrations with the Madrid fans after the third successive European victory, Ronaldo gave fans security over his future at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"See you next year," the 33-year-old told supporters.

"I feel proud to play for the biggest club in the world.

"I'm very comfortable here. With these players it's impossible not to win."

Ronaldo has now won five Champions League titles, four of which came at Madrid and the first with Manchester United.
