Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is reportedly set to be handed a €180m (£160m) war chest to spend in January as a result of the club's recent form.
Following their 3-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, Zidane's men have recorded three consecutive clean sheets and they now sit a point clear at the top of La Liga.
According to Don Balon, these performances have been enough to persuade Madrid president Florentino Perez to give Zidane €180m to spend on reinforcements during the next transfer window.
The Spanish capital side spent over €300m during the summer on the likes of Eden Hazard, Ferland Mendy, Eder Militao and Luka Jovic but their French boss is believed to want some additional steel for their midfield.
Madrid return to Champions League action on Tuesday when they play host to Belgian side Club Brugge, who drew their opening group match 0-0 with Galatasaray.
