Sevilla forward Kevin Gameiro has said that he is confident of hitting 30 goals for his Spanish club this season.
The Frenchman managed 17 goals in all competitions last season, despite spending the majority of the campaign as back-up to Carlos Bacca, who has since moved on to AC Milan.
This season, Gameiro has notched 10 goals in 12 appearances and has now increased his target of 20 strikes set in the summer.
"For a striker it's important to have the confidence of the group, the coach, the club," he told Marca. "It's very important for me to feel that way, so now it's another Gameiro. I won't hold back. I'm going to continue on this path.
"I said in pre-season I think I can get 20 goals. And then we'll see how the season goes. It's a good number for a striker. We'll see [if I can get more]. I have confidence and I hope I can. Why not 30?"
Sevilla return to league action away to Real Sociedad this weekend.
