Kelvin Davis believes Southampton are capable of winning this season's FA Cup, after his side reached the fifth round of the competition yesterday.
Davis was in goal for the Saints 2-0 win at home to Yeovil Town on Saturday and the club captain believes that Mauricio Pochettino's side have the ingredients to emulate Southampton's 1976 Wembley success.
He told the Basingstoke Gazette: "I really believe that we've got the capabilities of going all the way.
"Whether we get that bit of Lady Luck on the way remains to be seen, but what I am pleased with is that lads who don't play in the Premier League every week when they get their opportunity they step up and play well."
Southampton return to action on Tuesday evening, entertaining Premier League leaders Arsenal.
