Boss Ralph Hasenhuttl allegedly indicates that he is willing to pen a new long-term contract at Southampton.

Southampton have reportedly offered a new three-year contract to manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.

Since his arrival at St Mary's, the Austrian has only won 21 of his 60 matches in charge, suffering 26 defeats.

However, the 52-year-old has helped moved the Saints seven points above the relegation zone, having previously spent a significant amount of time in the bottom three.

According to The Sun, the Southampton board have been able to reach an agreement with Hasenhuttl over a deal which would run until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

While terms are yet to be finalised, it is claimed that an official announcement could be made in the near future.
