How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Sheffield United

Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for Sunday's Premier League fixture against Sheffield United.

Tottenham Hotspur are next in action on Sunday afternoon when they meet Sheffield United in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho's side currently sit in sixth position in the standings after being held to a 1-1 draw by Fulham on Wednesday night.

Despite that result extending their unbeaten record to six matches in all competitions, Mourinho will consider rotating his players for their upcoming fixture.

Here, Sports Mole predicts how Spurs will line up for the encounter against the division's bottom-placed side.

Having been left frustrated with his side's efforts in the final third against Fulham, Mourinho is expected to name a more attack-minded starting XI.

That should see Lucas Moura come into the team on the right-hand side, potentially as a replacement for Harry Winks in a move which would see Moussa Sissoko feature in central midfield.

Although there are calls for Dele Alli to be handed an opportunity in the top flight, Tanguy Ndombele is likely to keep his spot in an advanced midfield role.

Sergio Reguilon set up Harry Kane's goal during the draw with Fulham, but the Spaniard is in line to be replaced by Ben Davies at left-back.

Toby Alderweireld should replace Davinson Sanchez in the centre of defence, with Matt Doherty an option at right-back if Serge Aurier drops down to the substitutes' bench.

Gareth Bale, who failed to get on the pitch in midweek, is not expected to be brought back into the team after being restricted to 161 minutes of league football this season.
