Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gareth Bale believes that Moussa Dembele can fill the hole left by Luka Modric this summer.
Modric completed a move to Real Madrid in August, while Dembele joined Spurs from Fulham towards the end of the transfer window.
"Moussa's come in and he's been absolutely fantastic. He scored on his debut, played unbelievable against Reading and he's been a great addition to the squad," he told Sky Sports News.
"Obviously it's not nice to see your big players go but I'm sure he can fill his (Modric's) boots and more."
Bale has scored one goal for Spurs this season.
