Roma midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Tottenham Hotspur.
With Christian Eriksen expected to leave the Premier League giants during one of the next two transfer windows, Spurs have been left to weigh up possible replacements for the playmaker.
According to Calciomercato, Mauricio Pochettino is interested in adding Pellegrini to his first-team squad at the North London outfit.
The 23-year-old has made just six appearances in all competitions this season after suffering a foot injury in September.
The Italy international currently has just over two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, although Roma are said to be keen to agree fresh terms.
Pellegrini would allegedly prefer to remain in Serie A over making the switch to England.
