Former Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has reportedly intimated that he is interested in becoming the new coach of the Ukrainian national team.
The governing body made it known earlier this week that they were keen to discuss terms with the Englishmen after they had been turned down by Andriy Shevchenko.
Despite reports claiming that the 65-year-old would have no interest in the role, Redknapp has instructed his agent to begin negotiations, according to Sky Sports News.
Ukraine will face England at Wembley in a World Cup qualifying encounter next September.
