Wales captain Ashley Williams has said that only Gareth Bale could have scored the goal which secured a victory over Cyprus to leave the country on the brink of qualification for Euro 2016.
Bale powered a header home eight minutes from time to claim all three points in Nicosia on Thursday night and ensure that Wales remain unbeaten and three points clear at the top of Group B.
Williams admitted that Bale did not have the best of games by his own standards, but insisted that only a player with the quality of the Real Madrid man could have produced the goal that the former Tottenham player scored.
"He did not have his best game, you know, to his standard," Williams told BBC Sport. "A lot of things didn't go for him and he cannot be perfect all the time.
"But [it was] an unbelievable goal. I don't think anyone else in the squad would have scored that. He jumped so high. When he is on the pitch, he can always do that for you."
Wales can secure qualification to a first major tournament since 1958 with victory over Israel in Cardiff on Sunday.
