West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has said that his side need a result from their tie with Liverpool if they are to improve their form.
Bilic has been under pressure at the London Stadium after losing 3-0 at home to Brighton & Hove Albion and despite a 3-2 comeback victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the EFL Cup, the Hammers dropped points in the 97th minute against Crystal Palace.
The manager admits that last weekend's result at Palace means that West Ham need to produce a special performance against Liverpool.
"I know the situation," Bilic told the Evening Standard. "And of course I spoke with the chairman after that [Palace] game like I speak to him after every game and he didn't have to tell me what position I am in or we are in.
"That means we need something from our next game and that game is on Saturday against Liverpool.
"Every bad result, or the points you are not taking puts me or the team in a worse position. But I don't divide it, my position or the team position. We are all in the same boat and I know that my job is to look after the team against Liverpool."
West Ham face Watford on November 18 before hosting Leicester City.
