West Ham United have reportedly contacted Walter Mazzarri about potentially replacing Slaven Bilic as manager.
Reports have claimed that the East London outfit will stand by the current boss for now, but if he fails to get results in the club's next two games then the Croatian is facing the axe.
According to TMW, officials from West Ham have initiated contact with Mazzari, who has been linked with the job before following his sacking from Watford at the end of last season.
The report claims that the Hammers were pushed into action after witnessing the team lose 3-0 to Brighton & Hove Albion at the London Stadium on Friday night.
Mazzarri, who helped the Hornets survive relegation, has also been linked with a move to Everton, who parted company with Ronald Koeman on Monday afternoon.
West Ham currently sit 16th in the Premier League table.
