Salford Red Devils forward Gareth Hock has been given a six-match ban by the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee after pleading guilty to two charges of reckless use of the knees.
The two incidents took place during Salford's heavy 52-6 defeat at the hands of Saint Helens last week.
The former England second-rower was handed a three-game ban for each offence, and was also fined £600.
Hock was on the receiving end of a seven-match suspension from the RFL last season after being found guilty of deliberately making physical contact with referee Matt Thomason.
