Wayne Godwin suffers arm fracture

Wayne Godwin is expected to miss the remainder of the season with a double fracture of the arm.

The Salford hooker sustained the injury during yesterday afternoon's 24-20 loss to the Warrington Wolves.

"The injury is a bad one," said Salford coach Phil Veivers. "It really does look as if the season is over for Wayne and that's a blow."

Godwin had only just returned to action after making a recovery from a rib cartilage complaint.
