Rob Andrew promises "robust review" after World Cup exit

RFU director Rob Andrew says that there will be a "robust review" after England's World Cup quarter-final exit.

Rob Andrew has promised a "robust review" after England's World Cup quarter-final exit against France.

Martin Johnson's side have been the subject of intense media attention both on and off the pitch since arriving in New Zealand for the tournament.

Andrew, who is director of elite rugby at the Rugby Football Union, said: "We will be doing a robust review... We have to take stock and not over-react."

Johnson's future as coach has been questioned, but the former captain told reporters in Saturday's press conference that he would not be discussing it with them.
