Ceri Sweeney is looking forward to playing in the Premiership for new club Exeter Chiefs.

Exeter Chiefs summer signing Ceri Sweeney has admitted that he is looking forward to playing in the Premiership for the first time.

Sweeney said that he cannot wait to experience playing at the grounds of some of the clubs in the league that he has not visited yet.

"I've never played in the Premiership before so that will be a new experience and it will be good to play in front of full crowds every week," he told the Chiefs' official website.

"There's a lot of history between these old clubs and playing at their grounds. I have played at some of the grounds, but not all of them so that will be a really good experience as well."

Sweeney joined Exeter from Cardiff City Blues in March.
