Leigh Halfpenny is looking to build on happy memories when he returns to the Aviva Stadium on Saturday.

Six Nations winner Leigh Halfpenny is hoping that he can repeat his country's success for Cardiff Blues when he returns to the Aviva Stadium this weekend.

The Wales international kicked his country to a last-gasp win against Ireland in early February and is preparing to take on Leinster in the Heineken Cup on Saturday at the home of Irish rugby.

Halfpenny told ercrugby.com: "It was a fantastic game, especially with the way it ended. For me to be able to contribute with the last kick to win a game for Wales and set us up for what eventually became a Grand Slam was one of the proudest moments of my life.

"If I'm playing in the Leinster game, those memories will come flooding back.

"I'm looking forward to going back there to reflect on those memories and hopefully continue along the same lines with the Blues."

Cardiff Blues take on reigning champions Leinster in the Heineken Cup on Saturday.
