Juan Martin del Potro has beaten Philipp Kohlschreiber in straight sets to progress from the fourth round of the 2012 Australian Open.
While the German was able to come back from a break down in the first set after Del Potro took a two-game lead to start the match, he was powerless to stop the Argentinian from breaking straight back and seeing out the first set.
After being broken again at the beginning of the second, Kohlschreiber held serve twice to keep the encounter close before his opponent concluded the set in a similar fashion to how he began.
Del Potro took another two-game lead at the start of set three, but this time Kohlschreiber could secure just one service game as the Argentinian ran off four consecutive games to seal the final result.
